how disputes work on Cerivio
- Your funds are safe. Cerivio holds the payment in escrow until delivery is confirmed AND the 14-day return window closes — your money cannot reach the seller until they've earned it.
- RMA before dispute. For most issues, raise a Return (RMA) first. The seller must respond within 24 hours; if they miss the window, Cerivio auto-favours you.
- Tier 1 · Direct (5 business days). If a return is rejected, escalate to dispute. You and the seller can exchange evidence through the Cerivio-mediated channel.
- Tier 2 · Cerivio mediator (3 business days). A Cerivio Trust & Safety agent reviews auto-attached evidence (delivery proof + CADF + photos) and proposes a resolution.
- Tier 3 · Cerivio adjudication. If mediation fails, Cerivio decides — binding within the platform, with rationale documented.
- Cerivio Buyer Protection. Verified orders that fail despite the above are covered up to €10,000 per order (cap scales with account age — see Trust Centre for your current tier). Trust Centre →
